Nicole Ray creates hand-drawn whimsical art and illustrated paper goods. She grew up on the East Coast and received a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Moving with her Mister to his home state of Michigan pushed her to spend more time on her drawing and start up her etsy shop. She recently moved to a log cabin on a lake and is busy cultivating a growing network of critter friends that provide endless amusement and inspiration.
Kate Kehoo of Ann Arbor finds the balance between snark and inspiration one quote at a time. Kate has been crafting seriously for over 14 years, but she has been interested in the visual arts since childhood. Having worked in various bookstore, library, and video stores her brain is roughly 90% filled with quotes. The main goal of her products inspired by some of the best lines ever spoken is to make people laugh, think, or both.
Courtney Fischer began making jewelry over a decade ago and has turned her love of craft into a one woman business. She lives in Michigan with her husband, her two year old daughter, and their yellow lab. They love to hop in the car and head on adventures whenever possible. All Courtney's work is hand forged in her backyard garage studio. She primarily works with copper and brass to artfully age the surface of the metal creating texture and color. A feature of her jewelry is creating an antiqued look with a modern approach. She hopes to make tiny pieces of art that can be enjoyed on a daily basis.
