Located in the heart of beautiful West Bloomfield, this art fair is different. Voted top 100 art shows in America – the last ten years in a row! The focus is visual artists - originality, technique and execution being top priority. All work is original and personally handmade by the participating artists.
As part of our commitment to bring art education to the community, students in grades K-8 will be exhibiting their original art at the Youth Art Competition. There will be $250 in youth art awards sponsored by our 501c(3)’s non-profit arm, Institute for the Arts & Education Inc. This year at the Sounds & Sights Festival, July 26th, 27th and 28th from 8 AM to 5 PM in Downtown Chelsea, in addition to our ever popular chalk contest, we'll showcase several amazing and renowned pavement artists from across the United States. Live music, a classic car show, kid zone, and local food and brew are all at the 42nd annual Sounds & Sights Festival.
On Saturday, July 28, 9 AM to 4 PM, over 100 artists and artisans from across the country will exhibit and sell their work on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College, 1701 E Front St, Traverse City, Michigan 49686. The 58th annual Crooked Tree Outdoor Art Fair will bring together artists working in a wide variety of media who share a commitment to artistic excellence and craftsmanship.
The Crooked Tree Outdoor Art Fair includes sculpture, jewelry, glass, fibers, paintings and other 2-D fine art, pottery, metalwork, and more.
Admission and parking are free! Due to construction on campus, the art fair will be held behind the new dorm - North Hall #18.
