Megan is a seasoned educator, working as a middle school teacher for over 15 years, which has helped her create products with a sassy wit and humor. She has a passion for color and whimsy, which collide in her digital prints on her current medium, kitchen and home decor! Having dabbled in quilling, jewelry, and resin work, Megan has found her niche with creating digital prints for different sorts of home wares. Ironic, as she only has a kitchen because it came with the house. (The kitchen does get used though, as her boyfriend is a chef!)
What do you love most about the creative process? If you can't have fun with food puns, what can you have fun with?! I love being able to take pop-culture references and turn them into something food or kitchen related. Watching and hearing peoples reactions to my products is priceless. The amount of giggles and laughs I get to hear is great. I also get to take part in special memories when I create custom orders for weddings and anniversaries which can be really touching and sweet too. What do you enjoy doing besides making art? I love to travel, camp, geocache, and play euchre and trivia. I'm a little bit of a dork, or geek, and love to get into pop culture with movies and TV shows.

A recipe you're known for or like to make?
I might make kitchen accessories, but I'm not really a cook. Although, my middle school students love when I bake them brookies...brownies stuffed with chocolate chip cookies!
