Meet Larisa Zimin, the creator of "Flower Gift by Nature", beautiful jewelry inspired by nature! What inspired you to start creating your work and how did it turn into a business? I was making wood jewelry for 15 years. One day while browsing the internet & Etsy shops, I found a simple glass ball necklace filled with dandelion seeds. I was so impressed and inspired, that right away I purchased glass balls, filled them, and arranged them with metal caps the way I liked and opened another shop on Etsy just for this idea to grow. Since then, 6 years have passed, ideas have grown into working with pressed flowers that I grow my self.
What do you love most about the creative process? I love covering the different forms with layers of resin which magnifies the flowers.
Your favorite piece you ever created? I think my favorite piece was with forget-me-nots and daisies.
Goals for the future, both artistically and personally. my artistic goal - never stop doing and develop the best quality, personal goal - be happy and enjoying my family, trip to Russia to meet relatives.
Anything words or wisdom or advice for others who are in the creative field? Life is not waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance under the rain!
